v1.17.9 Bugfixes and UX improvements

UX improvements:

Saving Syphon/Spout/NDI

Users no longer have to worry about reconfiguring their Syphon/Spout/NDI settings every time they boot up Synesthesia (something that was very annoying!).

These settings are now stored in a new preference file, live_sources.json, and persist between app sessions.

Activation Flow

We added some new UX changes to avoid confusion when activating a new computer.

1. If you purchase a license within the app, Synesthesia will automatically activate after purchase.
2. If you have multiple activations and log into a new machine, Synesthesia will ask if you'd like to activate that machine.

Bugfixes:

Syphon/Spout connectivity

Multiple small bugs have been patched in this release but a large Syphon/Spout connectivity issue has been resolved.

If you've experienced unstable connections with Syphon and/or Spout, this update should have fixed any issues related to that.

Other bugfixes

• synesthesia now fails gracefully when reading malformed media settings.
• synesthesia will no longer crash if the user tries to read media from a folder with bad permissions.
• Some users reported that midi control and preset changes/updates were being ignored by scenes they were editing. This has been patched.
• Playlist "next" and "previous" buttons would become unresponsive when removing a scene from active playlists. This has been patched.
